Face painting and hula hooping, bouncy houses, and fire trucks – Healthy Kids Day this year brought our community together to have fun, connect, and celebrate. It also helped set families up for a smooth summer with opportunities to learn about lifesaving topics like water safety, CPR, and healthy eating. Additionally, it gave families the opportunity to explore new sports and activities to keep their children engaged during their time away from school and during summer break. Let's dive into the highlights of this unforgettable day and how it contributed to developing a healthy and safe lifestyle for our children. We had a blast!
It goes to show we can let kids be kids while also teaching them to be healthy and safe so they can reach their full potential. Turning fun and play into lifelong memories and the foundations of a healthy lifestyle like that wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated volunteers showing up and proving just how exciting getting healthy and active can be!
Though the bounce houses may have deflated by now, the memories aren't going anywhere. We're already looking forward to next year.
Thanks to UnitedHealthcare, Coordinated Care, Bank of America, our Vision 2025 partners: Premera, Microsoft, Schultz Family Foundation, Casey Family Programs, and Ballmer Group, and all our staff, community partners, sponsors, and community volunteers for making it possible.
