Here for Young People Experiencing a Crisis or Facing Homelessness in Washington State

The Lifeline program serves as a no-wrong-door access point for support and connection to services for youth and young adults in Washington who require assistance to overcome a life challenge that could escalate into a crisis if not addressed. You may qualify for services if you meet the following eligibility criteria: 

  • Applicant is between the ages of 12-25 
  • Applicant lives within the State of Washington (please note that applicants who live within Pierce and Spokane County will be prioritized for case management services) 
  • Applicant has exited a public system of care including foster care, the juvenile justice system, the Office of Homeless Youth prevention and protection programming, the Office of Homeless Youth shelter and housing programming, and/or inpatient behavioral health services  
  • Applicant is facing a challenge that could escalate into a crisis if not addressed 

Services provided include: 

  • Case Management support until case is resolved  
  • Navigation of regional/statewide resources 
  • Peer support 
  • Flex funding that is quickly deployed to meet immediate needs 
  • Connection to advocacy groups and youth advisory boards 

 

Hours and Location 

Lifeline team members are available Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. During after-hours, leave a message and a team member will return your call in 48 business hours or less.  

Support will be provided virtually for Spokane and a mixture of virtual and in-person support with Pierce County.
