Art supplies needed to create a caterpillar with an egg carton

Materials Needed

  • Paint (or markers)
  • Scissors
  • Egg carton 
  • Any other fun items for decorating – googly eyes, leaves, pipe cleaners, etc!

Cut up egg carton into small sections.

Paint or color sections of egg carton.

Decorate your “caterpillar” -- be creative and have some fun! 

Take a picture of your creature and tag us in it OR send it to us at OrkilaVirtualCamp@seattleymca.org! 

Variations

  • Make any bug (or critter) you want – use your imagination! 
    Don’t have an egg carton? Use an empty yogurt cups, bottle caps, or the bottom of an empty bottle! 
    Challenge yourself to ONLY use recycled materials.
