Join University Family Y member Woody Wheeler for a virtual tour of Mexico, Monarch butterflies’ winter home. More than 200 million butterflies from east of the Rocky Mountains in the US and Canada migrate south to roost in the mountains of Michoacan, Mexico, between late fall and winter. This migration is a natural history spectacle of epic proportions.

A natural history tour guide, Woody, will share this extraordinary experience through photos and videos while teaching us about the Monarchs, birds, mountain and forest landscapes. Mexico’s vibrant culture is a major component of this fascinating Naturalist journey.

Date: Friday, October 1 | 11:00 am Pacific Time (US and Canada)
