The Kirkland Teen Union Building (KTUB), a Bellevue Y satellite program and partnership with the City of Kirkland, serves Eastside youth with resources that empower them to become active, caring, and responsible community members. KTUB's unique space provides a recreation, resource, and arts center that gives teens a positive and supportive community to develop skills, connect with their peers, and make a difference.
KTUB has a history as an all ages music venue, and the emphasis on music continues through the Annual One Song, One Chance competition. Teens have the opportunity to win a year-long music development contract over the course of three competition stages. Local youth singers and musicians inspire and challenge each other with friendly competition and showcase their talent.
Drop-In programs from art, photography, and music give teens an opportunity to develop their talents and discover a new passion. The Youth Art Gallery is a participant in the Kirkland Art Walk, the second Friday of each month. Stop by and check out the new masterpieces!
