Season's Greetings,
As the season of holiday wishes rapidly approaches, our winter wish is another year of connection with you. We know that our wishes are supposed to be kept secret, but we felt that sharing this wish might help sprinkle fairy dust to make it come true. If we have learned anything from this year, it’s the power and joy that comes from being together and working to create the communities we all want to live in.
Your generosity and time have been – and continue to be – the most wonderful gift. And this past year, we worked to honor it by maximizing each and every dollar and moment as we pursue Vision 2025. Providing every opportunity to thrive in spirit, mind, and body is no easy task, but you helped make a huge difference. The numbers are staggering.
Together, we not only provided youth and young adults with critical resources like food, shelter, mental health services, education, and job training but because of you, we also supported hundreds of kids in foster care. With your support, we also provided thousands of kids with opportunities to learn, play, and grow through before and after-school activities that are pivotal to their social emotional learning, development, and so much more.
You entrusted us with your generous gift of time, talent, and treasure. See what we did together by the numbers below.
Our Impact You Made Happen by the Numbers

-
1,589 youth and young adults provided emergency, transitional, or long-term housing – a safe, welcoming, and affirming place they can call home

-
665 young people in, or aging out of, the foster care system received wrap-around support putting them on a path to gaining critical life skills to help them thrive

These have been just a few outstanding examples of what we, as a community, have been able to achieve. We are overwhelmingly grateful. And if we could have anything in the new year, it would be more time and connection with all of you. We're looking forward to seeing where we will go together.
From all of us here at the Y – here’s to 2023 being filled with happiness, hope, and Whole Person Health.
In community and gratitude,
