The Y is in the midst of its multi-year historic campaign, Opportunities for All: The Y Campaign for Kids and Communities, with a vision that one day, all kids, families, adults and seniors in the Greater Seattle Area will have equitable opportunities to improve their health and well-being and reach their full potential.
Together, alongside our neighbors at 13 branches, two overnight camps and hundreds of program sites across King and South Snohomish County, we’re tackling our community’s most urgent needs – giving people hope for a better future and the means to achieve it.
Help the Y change lives and close the widening opportunity gap in our region.
What your donations meant in 2018:
- Over 280 homeless young adults received housing support and more than 3,700 youth, young adults and families received mental health counseling.
- More than $8 million was provided in financial program support to kids, families and adults who need greater access to our programs and services.
- More than 25,000 children, teens, and families from all backgrounds had overnight camping opportunities. Highlights included new family camps, 130 schools served, and a 20% increase in financial aid to summer campers.
- This summer we stopped kids and families from being hungry, serving over 14,000 meals and over 950 snacks.
