As we reflect on the incredible accomplishments of 2023, we are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of our community. “The skills I learned in the blood pressure management class were so valuable. For the first time in four years, my blood pressure at my fall physical was in the normal range. 14,686 people built confidence in the water through lifesaving swim lessons.
6,053 kids were active and learned lifelong lessons by participating in youth sports
591 people became healthier through chronic disease prevention and management programming
Reached more than 490 people in African American, Ethiopian, and Somali communities through community health outreach workshops and events.

3,891 individuals received Behavioral Health Services including 24/7 crisis outreach, counseling, psychiatry, and violence prevention programs.
590 young people were served through Foster Care programs such as licensing and placement, family and youth support, and transitions programming.
946 young people received help with job training, life skills, and employment services.
1,291 young people were served through the Y’s housing and homelessness services including employment and training services, emergency shelters, transitional living programs, and permanent supportive housing. Of those housing participants, 71% obtained stable housing.

$309,837 in scholarships allowed more than 500 kids to access Before and After School Programs.
4,278 campers were served at 38 Day Camp locations and $316,432 in scholarships was awarded to one in every 10 campers.
7,728 miles were hiked by 368 young people exploring the outdoors together through the Y’s Boys and Girls Outdoor Leadership programs.
4,197 kids made lifelong memories and friendships at YMCA Camp Orkila and YMCA Camp Colman.

6,771 volunteers invested 73,727 hours of service to give back to their community.
2,607 Y staff created and ran Y facilities and programming that served 206,632 people across the region.
8,131 donors contributed more than $9.3 million to be invested back into their community through Y programs.
$6,874,576 was awarded in scholarships to make Y membership accessible to those who would not be able to afford it otherwise.
