The YMCA of Greater Seattle has a vision that one day, all kids, families, adults, and seniors in the Greater Seattle Area will have equitable opportunities to improve their health and well-being and reach their full potential. Together, alongside our neighbors at 14 branches, two overnight camps, and hundreds of program sites across King and South Snohomish County, we’re tackling our community’s most urgent needs—giving people hope for a better future, and the means to achieve it. Your support will ignite our ability to offer help and hope to tens of thousands more people. We’ll enhance and expand camping, leadership, health and wellness, and mental health programs, and build and renovate five branches and three camps to help us better serve the Greater Seattle Area for generations to come.
All kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, under the guidance of caring adults who believe in their potential. Learn how we’re transforming the lives of youth in our community.

We take on the most urgent needs in our community and keep our doors open to all. Learn how we’re helping meet basic needs, so everyone has a better chance to reach their full potential, making our community stronger.
We rely on donations from our members and the community to keep the Y available for kids and families who need us most. When you give to the Y, your gift will have a meaningful, lasting impact right in your own neighborhood.
A healthy kids campus expansion plan to address community needs will provide a much larger, more complete, inclusive, and dynamic place for families to come together.
In partnership with the City of Kent, the new Y will provide a diverse set of programs and services in the heart of Morrill Meadows Park on East Hill in Kent.
A new, bigger, full-service University Family Y will replace the existing structure in the rapidly-growing and diverse University District, incorporating units of housing and support services for those in need.
We can enhance the camp experience for more kids by building four new cabins at YMCA Camp Colman and eight more at YMCA Camp Orkila. We’ll also purchase a brand new overnight venue. YMCA Camp Terry day camp is being expanded to grow our capacity and better serve youth, teens, and families through camp programs.
In partnership with the City of Sammamish, our newest Y is a 60,000 square-foot facility in the heart of the Sammamish town square. This facility serves more than 16,000 Y members a year.
The expanded West Seattle Y has more space for fitness, additional family changing rooms, and a healthy eating kitchen. With the expansion, we’ve quadrupled the number of specialized programs for youth, teens, and adults to meet community needs in West Seattle.
