YMCA sports is the perfect opportunity for adults to reconnect with their favorite sport in a social and supportive environment. It’s also a great way to improve your health and athletic skills while challenging yourself on the court or playing field. These activities can provide the foundation for an active lifestyle and rewarding relationships, while serving to energize and restore our sense of well-being.
Drop-in Sports
Y members can drop-in to play a pick-up game of basketball, badminton, pickleball, table tennis, or volleyball in the gymnasium. Offerings vary by location. The Downtown and Northshore Ys offer reservations for racquetball.
Grab the Shuttlecock for Badminton
The world's second most popular sport, Badminton is a fast-paced and fun way to get fit.
Beat the Buzzer with Basketball
Play some hoop at the place where it was invented. Now with nets instead of peach baskets!
Drop Your Shot with Pickleball

Basketball, a great cardiovascular workout, gets your heart pumping while increasing endurance, speed, agility, coordination, and flexibility (plus burn some calories!). Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just looking to try a new sport, Y basketball leagues connect you with other ballers and provide an opportunity to show off some hoop skills.
Pickleball: It's not Just for Seniors!
Did you know pickleball, our state's official sport, was founded on Bainbridge Island and named after the creator's dog, Pickles? This hugely popular game combines elements of racket sports in a low-impact format for people of ALL AGES and skill level. Get a great workout with this fast-growing sport and meet some other picklers in the process.
