Water Fun for Everyone!
Whether you want a low-impact water workout or to splash around with family and friends, the Y has a pool for you. With 11 aquatics centers across Greater Seattle, there's always a Y pool nearby with a variety of activities.
Swimmers of all ages and abilities can feel safe at the Y. Our certified lifeguards are on duty at all times and the water is tested every two hours to maintain the highest quality standards. Additionally, many of our locations offer shallow-entry access and all pools have an ADA chair lift so everyone can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of our pools.
Know Before You Go: Early check-in is encouraged. Swimmers ages 16 and older will be required to show photo identification or a Y members card. Swimmers under 14-years-old, without a supervising adult present, will be asked to take a swim test before entering the pool.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
I cannot afford the full cost of the program. Is financial assistance available?
Yes! The Y is committed to ensuring all families have access to quality and enriching youth programs. If the fee for these programs presents a challenge for your family, financial assistance is available.
For Y members, your program assistance is already attached to your Y account and available upon registration. For community members, please drop by your local Y or call us at (206) 382-5022 to learn more.
Why do some pools have reservations?
To ensure the best member experience and because of limits to pool capacity, the Coal Creek Family, Matt Griffin, and Sammamish Community Ys require reservations to help us ensure that all members have access to these pools.
What is a safety break and why do Ys have them?
During high capacity times, your local Y may enforce a ten minute safety break for lifeguards to take a break from active scanning, check pool chemistry, and swim test patrons.
