During the day, Arcadia is a drop-in resource center for young people ages 12-24. During the night, Arcadia transitions to an emergency shelter for ages 18-24.
The drop-in center provides teens and young adults a safe place to stay during the day. The young people who visit are invited to do homework, play games, socialize, craft, work on personal goals or employment, or just relax. The center also serves hot meals and allows access to showers and laundry facilities.
Ages: 12-24 years old
Hours: Sunday-Saturday, 1:00-6:00 pm
At 9:00 pm, the drop-in center transforms into an overnight emergency shelter where young adults are encouraged to have a hot meal, do laundry, play video games, relax, and get some sleep in a warm and safe environment.
Ages: 18-24 years old
Hours: Sunday-Saturday, 9:00 pm-8:00 am
Young people can stop by during drop-in hours to talk to a caseworker and get help with resources such as bus tickets or food support. The Arcadia staff can also provide referrals to employment training, educational help, mental health and substance use counseling, and other services.
