Y Early Education Centers offer an enriching and positive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Research overwhelmingly supports the benefits of early education programs on a child’s growth and long-term well-being, but finding high quality and affordable childcare can be daunting for caregivers.

Parents have to work and they already have a lot of stress, knowing they’re in a safe and a stable environment where they're learning, they're well fed, they're loved and they're being taken care of, I think eases that parents mind a lot. Shemicka, Early Learning Staff

During a child's earliest years, it's crucial that they experience, learn to regulate, and express a range of emotions while also developing close, satisfying relationships with other children and adults. Children who participate in early education programs have been shown to have higher test scores from preschool to age 21, higher grades in reading and math, and a better chance of staying in school and attending college.

Every kid deserves the benefits of quality youth programs and family financial situations should not be a barrier to this. Through the support of generous and caring people, the Y is able to provide scholarships to families for Early Education, building stronger communities for everyone.

We invite you to join us in our vital mission of empowering youth and strengthening our community. Learn more about how the Y is strengthening communities and how you can get involved or make a donation today.
