Let's Make Leaf Bugs

Materials Needed

Paint or markers

Dry leaves
-
[Optional] scissors – if you want to cut your leaves!
Collect your dry leaves and get you imagination going! Cut shapes in your dry leaves, if you need to.
Paint or color your leaves to look like bugs! These can be bugs you have seen or bug designs from your imagination.
Make a bunch of bug critter friends!
Take a picture of your creature and tag us in it OR send it to us at OrkilaVirtualCamp@seattleymca.org!

Find a bug – observe it – and then try and make that bug out of leaves!

Take a photo of your leaf bug in a place where you think it would live if it were alive! How about under a rock, near a tree, or in the dirt?
