Recipe: Cream Cheese & Lox Board

INGREDIENTS
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 3-4 ounces lox (cold smoked salmon)
- 1 lemon, zested
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 1 small bunch fresh dill, torn
- ¼ red onion, very thinly sliced
- Everything but the bagel seasoning blend
- ½ English cucumber, sliced
- 3-4 bagels, sliced vertically into rounds
- Whole grain crackers
INSTRUCTIONS
- On a wooden board, drop spoonsful of softened cream cheese in dots all across the board.
- Use the back side of a spoon to spread and flatten each dot of cream cheese – leaving a 1-2” border bare around the edges of the board.
- Tear or slice the lox into small strips and arrange on top of cream cheese.
- Sprinkle with lemon zest, capers, torn dill, red onion and a pinch or two of seasoning blend.
- Arrange the cucumber, bagel slices and crackers around the lox mixture.
- Allow guests to scoop up the mixture onto the bagels, crackers or cucumbers.
