Recipe: Red Chimichuri Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 shallots, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • ¼ chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add garlic and shallots in the bowl of your food processor and pulse until chopped.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and pulse until it is finely chopped but retains some texture.
  3. Serve on EVERYTHING!

Yields: Apx. 1 Cup
