Do you or someone you know need access to a shower? Visit the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:30 am-2:30 pm to use our bathroom and showers at no charge. The last shower of the day is at 2:00 pm.
Please bring a government-issued ID when you visit. Reservations are not required, and we'll provide you with a mask, towel, and toiletries if you need them.
Hygiene is Hard During a Pandemic
Last May, a community member who is without shelter sent us the following note:
“When ... can we get in to wash the germs from our bodies? We literally have nowhere to shower. It is becoming a really big issue, because they are not even cleaning any of the parks rest rooms. The city has been told to stay out of them. So I am still using what is available, nothing much. The Sani-Can outside the day center. That is the only bathroom. After Hours. PERIOD. And during the day. The laundry mat and any of the parks restrooms, if you must! ....Thank you so much. We greatly appreciate all that you, and the y, do for us! Thx.
We're grateful to help however we can. Thanks to the Snoqualmie team for stepping up and rising to the need! If you're not in the Snoqualmie area, we recommend checking out the City of Seattle's Hygiene and Restroom Map for help too.
