Save on paper and add an outdoor element to your spelling practice by using nature to write your name!
- Head to your local park, your backyard, or a beach
- Gather rocks, sticks, flowers, plants, grass, or pick up litter (using gloves)
- Use your materials to spell your name, a favorite word, or a message
- Try one of these adaptations to up the challenge
- Only use each material only one time, you may have to look far and wide to collect enough treasures
- Spell your name entirely out of litter, you’ll be cleaning up and practicing spelling at the same time
- After you’ve spelled your name, see how many different words you can make without adding more materials
