Join us in April to better your Whole Person Health with our 30 Minute Challenge!
With a variety of programs to help focus on not only your physical, but also your mental, spiritual, communal, and social health, the Y is here for you in every way. Complete a card as many times as you like to be entered into a drawing to win a free month of membership or a free program at your local Y. One entry per completed card. Pick-up your card(s) from member services while supplies last.
Try one or all of these suggested activities to complete your punch card:
Spiritual
- Start the day showing gratitude
- Practice kind self-talk
- Take a bubble bath
- Meditate for five minutes/day
- Practice Yoga or Tai Chi
- Go bird watching
- Plant some flowers in your garden
- Deep breathe for two minutes/day
Mental
- Attend a therapy session
- Read a book
- Write a blog
- Work on a word challenge
- Complete a puzzle
- Reduce your screen time
- De-clutter your space(s)
Physical
- Get outside in nature
- Take a group wellness class
- Take your dog for a walk
- Lift some weights
- Take a swim or water walk
- Go to sleep 30 minutes early
Social
- Share your personal and/or Y story
- Call someone you haven’t spoken to in awhile
- Send a postcard to a loved one
- Attend a workshop or painting class
- Study a new language
- Take a walk with your neighbor
Communal
- Volunteer at your local charity
- Donate food to a nearby pantry
- Start or join a book or hobby club
- Learn the names of five people at your Y
- Donate to the Y
