Cook - Bake cookies! Gingerbread or snowball. You decide!
Explore - Get together with your Circle and celebrate the season by shopping together for a family in need, attending a Silver Tips hockey game, caroling (December 20th is National Caroling Day!) or hit the rink and go ice skating! Don't forget to sign up for a winter campout, too!
Skills
- Gift Wrapping: Put the present power in kids’ hands as they learn to wrap a gift for a loved one.
- Saw a Tree: Learn to saw the perfect tree.
Service Learning
December is an important month to remember what we are grateful for, how we are rich in family, friends, and community. We use this time to give back to others.
- Decorating mini trees can be a fun service project to do as a group and then deliver to family shelters, group homes, or a veterans hospitals.
- Adopt-a-family as a Circle, either through your local YMCA, the food bank or other charitable organizations in your community.
- Ring together for the Salvation Army.
